What You Will Be Doing
You will support the National Clinical Trials Manager in the coordination and delivery of awarded clinical trials across NSW, acting as a key liaison for clients and ensuring all trial-related pathology testing is executed accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the National Clinical Trials Manager with the implementation and coordination of awarded clinical trials
- Act as the first point of contact for clinical trial clients, delivering a customer-focused experience
- Resolve and/or escalate client issues or complaints as they arise
- Ensure timely reporting and delivery of results to clients
- Maintain compliant storage of samples post-analysis and facilitate retrieval as requested
- Identify opportunities to grow business and revenue through existing and new referrers
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and client KPIs
- Contribute to strategic communication plans for internal and external stakeholders
- Attend marketing conferences and events as required
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Scientist with a strong understanding of core lab operations and the urgency required in clinical trial processing. You’ll be comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, resolving issues, and ensuring that trial activities meet both regulatory and client expectations.
You will meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor of Biomedical Science or equivalent
- 4+ years’ experience as a multidisciplinary or core laboratory scientist
- Strong understanding of core lab operations and urgent processing requirements
- Understanding of clinical trials (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, motivate and lead colleagues to achieve KPIs
- High attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards
- Strong business and project management skills, including problem solving
- A mindset for identifying and seizing opportunities in the clinical trials market
