What You Will Be Doing

A full-time vacancy currently exists in our Dorevitch Commercial team for a Commercial Liaison Officer based at our head office in Heidelberg.

Utilising your knowledge of Pathology Laboratory processes coupled with your excellent sales, negotiation and administrative skills, you will thrive in this busy and fast-paced role.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to the B2B Manager
  • Daily management of Government and private sector contracts
  • Management of both internal team and external client requests
  • Negotiating and upselling commercial pathology services
  • Coordination of onsite activities
  • Administrative duties including the preparation of quotes, invoices, agreements and standard operating procedures

 

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

 

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

 

  • An understanding of Pathology Laboratory Processes
  • Experience in managing large private sector and Government contracts
  • Expert problem-solving skills with the aptitude to think outside the box
  • Excellent organisational abilities with the capacity to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Experience in general administration duties
  • Five-star customer service skills, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining great relationships
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems, particularly ULTRA (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of the Australian/New Zealand Standard 4308, procedure for specimen collection and the detection and quantification of drugs in urine (advantageous)
