Your role as a Pathology Courier Dispatch
Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills? Laverty Pathology is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Operator to join our team at North Ryde.
About the Role
As a Dispatch Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, receiving calls, coordinating job requests, and dispatching them to our courier team. Using the Premonition Now Go dashboard, you will manage daily schedules and ensure timely job assignments.
Responsibilities
• Answer incoming calls from clients and assist with inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Dispatch job assignments to couriers using the Premonition Now Go dashboard.
• Communicate effectively with clients, couriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all details are recorded in the system.
Key Requirements
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and efficient client and team interactions.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the courier team and other departments.

About you
- You have the ability to pick up and navigate systems
- You work well in a fast-paced environment, to ensure high quality & timely results
- Demonstrated customer service and stakeholder management skills
- You work well in a team, as you play an important part in the wider pathology division
- Valid open Australian driver’s license with an excellent driving record
- Previous Pathology Courier experience is considered highly advantageous
- You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work
Requirements
- 2 Covid vaccines are required in this role, as well as other vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B
- Ability to work on a Saturday, with a rostered day off in the week
