About The Role 

We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Routine screening of gynaecological and non-gynaecological specimens
• Attendance at FNAs and EBUS procedures to perform ROSE
• Maintaining up-to-date scientific knowledge
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including referring clinicians, regarding results and referrals
• Ensuring compliance with all Policies and Procedures, WHS requirements, and Quality Assurance processes 

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent)
  
• Skills in both gynaecological and non-gynaecological cytology
  
• CTASC (Gyn) qualification required; full CTASC preferred
  
• Previous microscopy/morphology experience (entry-level applicants considered; training toward CTASC provided)
  
• Strong time management, interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  
• Ability to thrive in a busy laboratory environment
  
• Demonstrated initiative and problem‑solving abilities
  
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to quality
  
• Willingness to comply with departmental and organisational policies and procedures
  
• Positive team‑focused attitude
  
• Ability to provide vaccination history relevant to vaccine‑preventable disease requirements
