Ensure the operational compliance and day‑to‑day functionality of our collection centres and North Ryde laboratory. This is a vital position in maintaining safe, compliant and well‑operated facilities that meet WH&S and quality standards, enabling our teams to deliver high‑quality services to clinicians and patients. You’ll be part of a passionate on‑site team, collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to ongoing projects, including new ACC setups and laboratory improvements.

What You Will Be Doing
As Facilities Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, safety and operational readiness of our facilities, ensuring all sites meet WH&S, quality and regulatory requirements while supporting smooth day‑to‑day operations across the state.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide timely, professional responses to all facilities and property‑related enquiries
- Ensure all incoming maintenance requests are triaged, actioned and resolved promptly
- Coordinate effective and cost‑efficient facilities maintenance activities across sites
- Support the delivery, set‑up and relocation of new or refurbished laboratories and collection centres
- Collaborate closely with property management, project teams, State Business Managers and Customer Care Managers
- Provide ad hoc reporting and insights to support planned and preventative maintenance
- Ensure WHS, quality and regulatory compliance is consistently met
- Prioritise work to maintain a smooth, safe and efficient operational environment

This role will suit a proactive problem‑solver with strong stakeholder management skills, who enjoys taking charge to ensure safe, functional work environments. You will bring a customer‑centred mindset and the ability to balance operational detail with effective coordination.
You will bring:
- Experience in the facilities management sector
- A tertiary or trade qualification
- Strong communication, organisation and customer service skills
- High computer literacy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem‑solving capability
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams
- Adaptability, integrity and a calm, steady approach
- Strong time management and commitment to quality and safety
