What You Will Be Doing
As a Financial Analyst within our Corporate Finance team, you will:
- Deliver accurate and timely financial analysis to support property-related investments, leases, and operational performance.
- Prepare and review Property Evaluation Requests (PERs), interrogating financial assumptions and ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Develop and maintain financial models for lease analysis, capital expenditure (capex), and return on investment.
- Track actual performance against forecasts, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide financial input into lease negotiations, renewals, and new site evaluations.
- Collaborate with Customer & Commercial Managers, Operations, and Property teams to ensure robust budgeting and forecasting.
- Support strategic property initiatives through data-driven insights and continuous improvement of financial processes.
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
To succeed in this role, you will be a commercially minded analyst who thrives on detail and collaboration. You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, ideally with exposure to property or multi-site businesses.
- Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel proficiency (Power BI experience is a plus).
- Ability to interpret and challenge assumptions in business cases and forecasts.
- Experience engaging stakeholders at all levels and presenting clear, actionable insights.
- Knowledge of property-related costs, capital investments, and ROI analysis will be highly regarded.
