We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Consultant to join our team in Sydney.
This isn’t your standard P&C Consultant role. You’ll be a trusted advisor and change leader, working closely with senior leaders and teams to embed new ways of working and build a culture that embraces innovation, agility, and growth. This is a great opportunity with focus on change management and specialist advice and solutions.

The Role
Leveraging your robust generalist HR skills, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with our team members and managers. You will develop and maintain productive partnerships to deliver value-added service to functional managers, leaders and employees to achieve the business objectives of the organisation. This includes providing direction and guidance for team members, as well as all people matters across the employment lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support People & Culture Managers with organisational change (updating playbooks, preparing letters, coordinating change tracking)
- Provide P&C admin support for complex change scenarios across GE P&C and Corporate/Clinical teams
- Manage incentive processes including tracking, updates, and preparing award letters
- Collate and coordinate data, communications, and information to support key P&C cycles (performance, talent management, training)
- Delivering HR projects (e.g., change management, restructures, policy development) and supporting managers on complex people issues on a case-by-case basis
- Advising on workforce planning, succession planning, or capability frameworks and reviewing team structures and role design
- Managing complex performance, misconduct, or grievance issues
- Partner with HR Business Partners and operational leaders to support implementation of people initiatives
- Interpret agreements and legislation and provide direction and clarification on ER matters
- Support the business in relation to claims in external jurisdictions such as the Fair Work Commission
- Support group, divisional and people technology programs and projects
- Ensure that line managers are focussed on value adding activities that are aligned to the achievement of strategy initiatives
- Proactively identify and manage risks and ensure that all team members are aware of their obligations
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

- You have strong experience in HR Business partnering/or change management
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resource Management, Psychology or similar
- Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resource issues, practices and relevant legislation
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, the Fair Work Act and other relevant legislations
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including Anti-Discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Occupational Health and Safety, Privacy and Freedom of Information
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Experience coaching and upskilling hiring managers
- Experience in organisational development and change management
