What You Will Be Doing

This exciting opportunity is perfect for a Senior Java Full-stack Developer who is passionate about reshaping the diagnostics journey for patients, doctors, and healthcare professionals.

 In this role, you will be a key contributor to a solution engineering team, engaging in the full lifecycle of application design and development using Java, the Spring framework, and Thymeleaf. With your expertise in microservice architecture and test-driven development, you will build and maintain reliable, high-performing digital solutions.

Responsibilities include remediating software issues related to code quality and security, conducting peer reviews, and ensuring coding standards are maintained. You will also support the continuous improvement of CI/CD processes, ensuring that every solution meets Healius’ standards of excellence. As part of a forward-thinking team, your work will contribute to re-imagining healthcare, unlocking the value of data with AI-driven solutions, and enabling seamless cloud-based interoperability across the industry.

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

  • 5+ years working knowledge of Java, Spring Framework and Thymeleaf is a must
  • 3+ year’s experience in enterprise software development within an Agile environment
  • Excellent communication skills, working in small agile development squad, including collaboration with QA engineers
  • CI/CD exposure is a must, e.g. Azure DevOps or Github, and Helm charts experience is advantageous
  • Cloud experience with Azure is advantageous
  • OpenID or OAuth2 experience highly desirable
  • Exposure to Neo4J or other Graph based DBMS systems advantageous, not a must.
  • Support design approach to accommodate contemporary UI libraries such as React, Angular or Bootstrap is desirable.
  • Operational support experience in end-user trouble shooting advantageous
  • Healthcare or similar medical diagnostics experiences an advantage
  • Integration development via API and microservices architecture highly desired
