This is an exciting opportunity for a UX/UI Product Designer to join the Digital Team to help shape the future of pathology, imaging and healthcare services and build better experiences for our customers. As the UX/UI Product Designer, you will partner and collaborate with product, engineering and stakeholders from across the organisation to create leading digital experience for our customers and users. You will tackle complex problems and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy to use features and products that caters for the needs of a range of users including first-time users to sophisticated experts.

What You Will Be Doing
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to understand business opportunities, user needs, competitive landscape, and technical constraints to deliver products to market that drive user satisfaction and business growth
- Tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs for many - from first-time users to sophisticated experts
- Drive a customer-centric approach to product design through discovery, framing, iterative development and delivery and create supporting artefacts
- Plan, estimate, prioritise and undertake 'just enough design' using a lean mindset to deliver commercially feasible user-centric design solutions
- Reduce ambiguity of scope, bring clarity to requirements and user needs, write user stories, create journey maps, and facilitate collaboration workshops
- Support team with functional testing and create collateral to support product and feature launches
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, synthesise findings and share insights on regular cadence
- Contribute and utilise design components and patterns
- Develop and explain design rationale for design decisions to make design trade-offs obvious
- Communicate design, design intent and rationale effectively across the organisation both visually and verbally

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:
- 8+ years of professional UX/UI product design experience
- Experience across the end-to-end design process - from research (quantitative and qualitative), concept development, prototype creation through to product development and delivery
- A portfolio of projects and work which demonstrate human-centred design approach, product design and delivery process, ability to solve complex problems and an agile approach to product development
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly-dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
- Working knowledge of the tools of the trade such as Figma, Adobe CC, Miro, Confluence, Jira, Loom, Dovetail, user testing tools, and rapid prototyping tools
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines and through various stages of the design process
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to elicit requirements and understand the business on a fundamental level
